Fool Lake from your own shore
Fool Lake is a quiet lake in Crow Wing County, about eight miles northwest of Crosby. The listing puts it at 242 acres. Steps lead from the yard down through the trees to the shoreline.
Mornings are for coffee on the dock. Evenings end at the fire pit above the water.

Add a pontoon for a day
An optional pontoon, a fishing and cruising combo, is available to rent during your stay. It is not included in the nightly rate. Ask Kelly about rates and dates when you book. Bringing your own boat? Guests get a key to the lake access for launching from a trailer.

Drop a fishing line in
Five fishing poles and a tackle box are at the house, and the fishing on Fool Lake is very good. Anglers 16 and older need a Minnesota fishing license.

When the lake freezes
Snowshoes are provided. Cross‑country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and fat tire biking are all nearby, and alpine skiing at Mount Ski Gull is 40 min away. The sauna and fireplace are there when you come in. Always check ice conditions locally before going out.
